This is awful. The police wounder why the people are fighting back....this is why

This "could" be why, but in this instance it is not. There are plenty of valid reasons that the police could have been asking the people to leave e.g., things were about to get violent or it was just getting late. Protest is fine, non-compliance with reasonable requests is not.
