can we teach interdisciplinarity?

Interdisciplinarity lacks formal learning structure, I don't think we can teach it. I think it's more something the student learns than is taught like an amalgamation of interests. Btw it's nice to see you pop in here every now and then Em.
i think the lack of formal learning structure is exactly why it should be introduced. but perhaps 'facilitated exploration' is a better term than 'teaching'. And thanks Terrance, I've been in a weird intellectual bubble for a while. Couldn't find any words.
