this is a deceptively simple perhaps even obvious insight but it is important and I keep having to re-learn it resting in not-knowing can be more comfortable than trying-to-know there is a kind of comfort in uncertainty A wisdom in insecurity, if you will

I find the best way to be comfortable with uncertainty is to practice entertaining (as in ideas). It's an inherently playful practice. You get to experience the excitement & clarity of certain beliefs without putting any skin in the game

Like I was talking with a friend recent who was convinced she was haunted for a while. She was like, do y'all believe in ghosts? I said I don't believe in much anything but I can right now, and just continued on with the frame that ghosts are real. Silly and simple but I love it
