Agree with joscha for the second big bit: brain aka governance itself. Removed from the reality of what's going on with it's kinda 'constituent' cells. Lack of a coherent story about itself & where it should be heading in a meta way, additional to serving immediate needs
Hrm. The peer-to-peer signalling is one aspect. Chemical signals are off so immediate courses of action are unclear. See this in bad communication & feedback routes to governance + unclear science and post truth stuff.
