Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card. City by Clifford B Simak. Gene Wolfe is incredible but while his short stories are easy to sit through, longform is more difficult but SO rewarding

Peter Hamilton polarises opinion. And there are many valid criticisms of his work. But his books are great fun to read. Recommend to begin with Pandora’s star then Judas Unchained. (Don’t bother with Misspent Youth, some sources say its in the same series but it isn’t really).
