Becoming open to the possibility of education being my first career related endeavour I enjoy being around kids much more than I thought I would, and also have plenty in the way of ideas for improvement in this space. (+ there doesn't seem to be a huge skills barrier to entry?)
I think my age/personality puts me in a good position to really relate to kids & understand their needs too Given I've recently exited the education trauma-machine, I'm still holding onto that "bone to pick" attitude. Emotional investment is healthy for progress in any field imo

It fades a bit after awhile. Been out of school since 2014. Hearing college and high school students talk about school gives me flashbacks.
