The social cost of all obvious negative externalities must be added to the price of all 'private' market transactions, if that is what you are askinghehe i got you, but id like to know whether you'd include a tax on meat-eating in your concept of accounting for externalities

I think a carbon tax at the very least would be reasonable (e.g. to account for methane from cows). Ideally, we would also tax their suffering. Even if we couldn't account for the full amount, a partial tax would probably be better than nothing.
