lol why do I feel embarrassed to tell people I dont eat meat? legitimately find myself apologising to people all the time. "sorry if my lack of flesh eating inconveniences you" wish I wasnt so influenced by social pressure & could be confident in expressing my values to others

I've become maybe a bit more insufferable lately because the success of Beyond & Impossible etc has inspired me to say things like "technically I do eat meat, just not made from animals"
I respect insufferable vegans/veggies because I wish I had their confidence :') beyond is so good but I'm not about to pay 12 AUD for 2 patties yike
