lol why do I feel embarrassed to tell people I dont eat meat? legitimately find myself apologising to people all the time. "sorry if my lack of flesh eating inconveniences you" wish I wasnt so influenced by social pressure & could be confident in expressing my values to others

i have thought this same thing myself. challenges their self-perception & value framework. but then, if i think this i also put myself on a moral pedestal. so maybe its equal parts my problem (i dont want to be seen as thinking im superior?) hope the chaotic speech makes sense
