Most folks who think they are INTP are either ISTP, ESFP, or ESTP, in my experience. Most Sensing types don't understand what an iNtuiting type is like. And the woo woo Perceiving element is similar to the iNtuiting. I've also seen INTJ's dismiss Perceiving types as Feeling.

And all of the online tests are junk. Even the official MBTI test you pay for at a workshop is pretty bad. The only good source is the original one, the book Gifts Differing. I add the DSM categories to it to get this:pic.twitter.com/DISTjmtHtQ

Aha, this makes sense. I consider myself to have an overabundance of large scale empathy compared to others. For example, I often cry when I see sad news articles. I don't think it's directed towards individuals. It's more of a sadness towards suffering in general.

I love and empathise with those I'm close to as well. Where it seems to stop is with those people I can't seem to relate to. People who seem to have a different value set etc. This isn't intentional though. It's just on a macro level what seems to happen
