What source are you using to make your assessment, out of curiosity?

The best way I've found to assess folks is by looking at risk-aversion/conserve/explore vs novelty-seeking/exploit/create on a first/physical/me, second/emotional/you, third/intellectual/community, and fourth/philosophical/universe person level.

Do you: Crave playful experimentation in physical interactions with the world around you? Extravert. Crave playful experimental relationships with partners and kids? INtuiting. Crave doing playful science experiments? Thinking. Think the future is awe inspiring? Perceiving.

That perfectly matches those descriptions. INtuiting is about being playful and creative in one's relationships with the immediate world one is in. Sensing is cautious and alert, and focused on what something "is", rather than what it wants to do (in the future).

And Perceiving is about playing with the universe, and having fun. While Judging is about being cautious and trying to protect oneself and those one cares about from the universe, and whatever it is.

Yeah, that's Sensing. Most humans these days are Sensing. Geeks are Sensing. As are jocks and performing artists, usually.

The problem with these descriptions is that they tend to lump different dimensions together, and don't pay attention to the specific categories that Jung and Meyers-Briggs described. *Each dimension* is either past/conserving/risk-avoidant or future/experimenting/novelty-seeking
