I find it utterly painful to live without creating. It's the greatest struggle I have. And yet, I find myself completely unable. I think I place to much pressure on myself, and therefore fear trying anything lest it isn't a masterpiece.

P.s. I'm trying a new goal setting tactic where I'm saying that I must make something (anything) for a particular person by the time the next gift giving holiday comes around. Will update if it works.

This is
% real and something that I struggle with as well. Perhaps for different reasons, but I understand the feeling of wanting to create and feeling sabotaged in that.
Some others suggested a creators ability group, which sounds great, but the vibe kills the mood... -
I would rather have someone else that I could get into shared mindspace with and feed each other intuition and "do the thing" together. Seems like it could create momentum that way organically. Is that the idea behind the creators accountability group? Just seems a bit sterile

Lack of community. Maybe you don t need to live within an arty community. Maybe you should try a bit of flaneurism? Also, what kind of art are you into most?

That's a word I haven't heard in a while. I'm not stuck to a particular medium, I just feel like I have something valuable I could communicate. I've seen YouTube videos that I resonate with, paintings etc.
