Hm. I follow. Ties into the idea of a grand narrative, but makes it seem like we might be able to get there through individual relations alone Though I'd consider the idea of levels or loci of reliability. Needs to be a balance of micro and macro. I think we're missing macro

might that be the result? > people that become 'relatable selves'... > we would be arriving at macro version(s) of this? humanity relating better to itself would be pretty great. and then relating to nature, too... we seem to have disappeared up our own innertubes.

well i think everyone relates themselves on some level to the world around them. if they didnt everyone would be in a totally dissociative state. we relate to our family, our friends, our personal preferences, the physical space around us when we actively bring attention to it
