I long for freedom and autonomy, but perhaps only in theory. Practically, I'm much more at ease when my path is mapped out for me. Decision making is an immense stressor, especially in a world of right angles.

This seemingly paradoxical trade-off between freedom and security/certainty is important when considering our psychological needs + desires. Especially if we want to design better communities and life-styles going forward.
