Our desires and motivations are largely inelastic, despite our enhanced sense-making and predictive capacities compared to other organisms. Our environment is largely designed to further reward these evolutionary motivators. No wonder we struggle.

We're going to need a helluva toolkit to get us out of this rut. It's not a one-fix issue. I'll take a guess that it will involve a redesign of our physical environment changing the way we interact with each other, as well as a spiritual component

Moreover, I see the future requiring a new method of collective decision making and corresponding power relations, new education systems, and more. Paradoxically, conservation of the whole will ask a lot of the individual and their personal development
