Here's a weird example I intellectually/philosophically & most of the time emotionally know that I like life (living things). I appreciate immensely the beauty and complexity & crazy emergence of it all But I cannot get this to extend to insects & most 'ugly' thingshttps://twitter.com/cosimia_/status/1138198042119532544 …

I think I stand firmly in the camp of “I have to eat meat now”, but where’s the nutritional, affordable Clean Meat alternative? I’m open to supplemental proteins, tried some, but none worked. Idea: you might benefit from capturing spiders. Moral alignment and overcoming fear?

is more of a phobia than a fear. ill deffo have to work up to that but atm i cant even fathom it xD i guess i just get my protein from eggs, green veg and fake meat. im a student, so definitely not well off financially. i think if i ate meat my groceries would be more expensive

I hate simplicity because of bait and switch game people play with responsibility and liability But I have found leaving things not much simpler but not much more complex than I found them increases the likelihood that others will be able to manage the side effects of things I do

i guess a lot of my moral compass (at least the ideal & theoretical one) is based off the probability of negative/positive consequences
