Taking life — directly/indirectly — we contribute every moment. To juxtapose your thoughts about appreciation & preservation of life, fear, and morality: I eat meat, if I don't, I wither. I never kill critters if I can prevent it — I capture & release outside. Spiders included.

I stand on lower moral ground — considering the complexity and implications of consciousness suffering. It's a dark and winding puzzle. Nutrition and physical need — can that outweigh the distant & indirect ...industrialized... suffering of animals? Painful to consider.
