if its true that humans generally dont know whats best for us, - democracy aint great - free markets aint g authoritarian structures like govs are meant to act as some generally accurate and unbiased influencer for our mistakes, but so long as theyre human theyre the same as us

if you put experts in positions of power for their relative field, and allow them to account for the mistakes most ppl make in their judgement of 'good-for-us', this probably makes that problem better but power corrupts & ppl are reactionary when people counter their wants
