Can we at least have a UBI for people that want to do some good Like idk apply to the Gov, say what you want to work on, and so long as you can prove progress you'll get the $$ to support yourself while you do it Why don't we subsidise doing good things?

The only way I'd be okay with this program is if I or another EA good at cost-benefit analysis were in charge of it and that most likely wouldn't happen. The program would most likely be less cost-effective than just not taxing people as much in the first place.
