I find the recent longing/attempt to return to simplicity interesting, and also humorous Despite our many years on this planet, and with each other, we are still largely incapable of doing the whole human thing well I mean, the answers are out there. What stops (distracts?) us?

I was making a joke about how the things that distract us from really living our lives are the ways of being and thinking we’re taught when we’re young. Those are often limiting later and we need to break habits to move forward.
Agreed. Hard to break though when most ppl can't be bothered questioning them in the first place
