As a person hustling right now this summer, I am strongly against a minimum wage. If you raise the minimum wage beyond the productive value of someone's labor, employers simply can't afford to hire them. Let the market set wages & just work to make market transactions more
Hm I at least agree that the issue gets weird w/ entrepreneurship & startups. But I think they're able to get away with some weird stuff in the beginning like equity, internships etc.

I just say entrepreneurs because that's essentially what big business leaders still are and we oft forget that. Competition is intense in most markets & for most companies & even big businesses frequently cannot sustainably pay people much more than they do.

Where businesses do underpay people, that means there is an opportunity for another business to swoop in and capture their talent with higher wages.
