As a person hustling right now this summer, I am strongly against a minimum wage. If you raise the minimum wage beyond the productive value of someone's labor, employers simply can't afford to hire them. Let the market set wages & just work to make market transactions more

I see the market as a free place for people to satisfy each other's preferences in mutually agreed upon ways. We shouldn't bar people from doing low-value/time labor for each other not only out of principle, but because many people cannot even offer valuable enough labor/time.

Not saying the market is perfect at valuing everyone's labor all the time, & that we shouldn't be interested in increasing people's economic productivity so entrepreneurs can afford to pay them more.
