(jk i just regularly forget that its abnormal to have been depressed & anxious for 5 years) and to add to the topic, i also get this. e.g. if im with a friend and having a good time, an image of them dying right then and there pops into my head. then i get sentimental and cry

For me, oft remembering my companions’ impending, inevitable death leads me to the sincerest appreciation of their life. It feels as if I’m traveling back from the future, where they’ve already died, and experiencing these sacred moments with them from the past *thankful tears*

True it does sometimes feel like that. Wonder why it happens, because I don't bring it up consciously
