Probable. But also business thrives off loneliness. I think we can make (try) new social medias that thrive off of connection instead!

I see. But do you think this ideal form of social media with good (but simulated) connections would help cure/reduce this extreme loneliness that can derail individuals?

I don't know to be honest. But I hope so. I at least find profiting off our shame and disatisfactions is uncool, and that social media currently finds more benefit in diving rather than uniting people. Controversy captures people's attention and attention can be monetized!
