Connectivity does not ensure harmony

The alternative is isolation, which also doesn't ensure harmony. Isolation is peaceful until contact is made. Like most things, it's not about 1 thing. It's about the right combination of things. Connectivity + empathy = harmony.
Empathy is certainly a key ingredient. But I imagine there's a bunch of others too that go into making the cake of harmony Harmony is a rarely used word in western cultures. We could probably learn some things from eastern cultures in this regard

Agreed. Other key ingredients: talent, patience, respect for both nature and nurture, shared goals, I could go on. Also agree that Eastern culture has many valuable lessons. Holism and fuzzy logic are a few of my favorites.
