Huh okay it's got a heart monitor thing. Now I want it cheaper and for everything else going on in my body xD (Which means we're gonna have to go for implantable thangs)

And we’re Aussies. Sorry. The Government won’t allow the heart monitor feature. It only gives pulse. Nonetheless - I still recommend the Apple Watch

Everything there is to monitor! Chemical stuff, hormonal stuff etc. Then hopefully given enough data we can do some funky data analysis and turn that into holistic & personalised medical plans

Would they have to be subcutaneous or would you be ok with cyborg style over skin?

im down with cyborg-style. but i bet most people arent. so some little pill thing you can inject with a needle might be the go-to

In Australia the Therapeutic Goods Administration won’t allow the features Apple designed for the series 4 watch. So it’s disabled or else it couldn’t be sold in this country. https://www.healthcareit.com.au/article/tga-reform-regulation-software-medical-devices-apps-ai-and-3d-printing-healthcare-boom … Government knows best... :/

If you read the transcript here: https://www.tga.gov.au/webinar-recording-role-digital-health … which contains the best I can find in terms of their reasoning two amazing takeaways: the expert doctor is (1) positively salivating about “regulation” (2) relies in part on Wikipedia to justify what he says.
