Entropy is life! I am on a crusade to reverse the discrimination against "entropy" which is SOOOOO not what people were taught it was.
Eh? Are we getting confused be between organised complexity and entropy/disorder or am I a confused bean I was under the impression that life was counter entropic

What you were taught about entropy is ancient history. entropy = the number of possible micro states in a system But it also can mean the level of complexity for each of those micro states, compared to one another. 01 is lower entropy than 10001 11111 is lower than 10001

And life is the really messy middle, where there are tons of possible states an organism can be in, AND things are more complex, with a balance of 1's and 0's (matter and energy, essentially), rather than the more simple/pure all 0's (pure matter) or all 1's (pure energy)
