We aren't fed. We must terraform the planet at great effort to grow the food needed for us all (one of the things that article complains about). The temperature is regulated *by our technology*. Most places are so cold you'll freeze to death in winter or die of thirst in summer.
im talking large scale environmental conditions. if our atmosphere wasnt there, or even slightly different, we wouldnt be able to live here. humans were around before we had ACs :P
And they suffered terribly and died quickly. Not least from the "pristine natural" atmosphere :) And the atmosphere will disappear entirely one day and take almost all life with it (the Sun alone will do that) UNLESS we do something about it. :)
aha i see where you're coming from now. 100% on making a more friendly and hospitable planet for all lifeforms by leveraging tech. but i dont think we can absolve ourselves of blame. we are currently a huge risk to life
