A significant part of adulthood is learning how to function with the burden of all your childhood traumas, ingrained dogmas, and false learnings. You can very easily tell who has made an effort to heal, and who has adapted by repression.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by “You can very easily tell who has made an effort to heal, and who has adapted by repression”? Could you share an example?

in my experience it comes across in their personality & general vibe. someone whos tried to heal is generally more relaxed in demeanor, more at ease in posture etc. repressors are stiff, unopen to countering opinions or vulnerability. stuck in routine.
