How do I get better at speaking if nobody wants to hear me ramble Should I record myself talking off the cuff about a random topic and listen back? Sounds scary

I do this when trying to prepare for presentations so I can cut out waffle and translate terminology into suit-speak. I find it helps reduce rambling on a topic-specific scale where the main points are mapped/semi-scripted, but hasn’t translated to less speech issues in general.
