Hobbies are crazy valuable. They teach discipline & the benefits of sticking to a single task long enough to see improvement and mastery. It's easy to let them slide in favour of device-related distraction.
We need to allocate uninterrupted hobby time for ourselves (and kids especially) if we are to learn how to focus in a world that wants us to do the very opposite. It is also an opportunity to learn how to sit with our own minds - to quieten and befriend them.
