Moderately disagree. Temperament is not conditioned. Neither are levels of sex hormones, metabolic baselines and other physiological systems that contribute to personality.

Ur right but it sounds cool and is fun to think about it in this abstracted way :P I'm imagining you have this core state of being (you when alone) and when you interact with others you're like, how much of this can you tolerate? & you negotiate that both ways

Personality is the genetic (and maybe VERY early experiences) design of our brains, giving us a default function when it comes to interacting with reality. It IS sort of negotiation, but with everything, not just other living things. So if society = reality, then sure!
