We all have our own scarce and valuable good: attention Corporations are plundering this daily, with no repercussions, and no alternatives Could we charge for attention capture? Or perhaps get something in return? Could we make it mandatory for medias to have paid alternatives?

i'd say thats probably a different scenario. i'm not profiting off your reading my tweet, so i dont have incentive to compete for your attention. in this case you're probably giving it out willingly.
