biggest problem with twitter is that its constantly pushing for new content, with little care for the old. needs a better way for searching and archiving value, and the vertical scroll doesnt help that in any way either

imagine if you went onto a profile and saw a grid, each labeled with a topic, linking to a web of tweets that all relate to that idea. you'd be able to better see each person's knowledge map, and it would prioritise value over most-recent

oooh then you could have a homepage similar to what it is now (but heaps more customisable), and have each new tweet link to its context in relation to other tweets in that same topic then you could obviously link other's tweets and threads and maps to your own

From what I understand, the success of social media apps usually relies on their simplicity More utilizable apps seem to be for more niche groups, which is why I think you’re less likely to find something ultrapractical unless you make it yourself
