Instead of arguing and making assignments, you could get together to present little TED talk type presentations of stuff everyone has learned on their own, voluntary, exploration, and thinks is cool enough to share.

it’s more important to be able to articulate what you know & learn than to recommend (or demand lol) source material. Sometimes the latter is necessary, but less often then most might think. Bottom line, if you recommend a read or a listen, you’ve gotta sell it

With more available knowledge, discussions usually become more complex but disagreements often still boil down to opinion or imprecise words. I’ve noticed this on the twitter platform. We subjectify objective concepts—& this seems to be deeply ingrained It’s hard being human
