Carl Jung talked about the second half of life. At some point, if you're paying attention, you'll notice that reality is bigger than you and all your constructs for dealing with it. Then you can start to remove the rigidity from your constructs and move toward wholeness.

On limits: there are none. Mostly the problem now is tackling irrationality—cycles of explicit and inexplicit ideas which disable creativity, self awareness. Self development will be more fully open-ended once we solve that.

I think there is nothing more to development than understanding that you are a problem solving entity. No limits is the other side of the truth that problems are inevitable. But you being able to solve problems mean progress is unbounded.
