What does it mean to develop one self? Where are we coming from, and going to? What does a developed person look like? Does development happen in steps? Is one ever fully developed, or half-developed? What is the upper limit? And how can we know if we're on the right path?

On limits: there are none. Mostly the problem now is tackling irrationality—cycles of explicit and inexplicit ideas which disable creativity, self awareness. Self development will be more fully open-ended once we solve that. #CreativityUnleashed

Were creativity to become unlimited/uncontested, it would lose its meaning and be replaced with something else as our chief game. For something to have meaning, it must have *its* limits. A case in point: the concept of time in Newtonian Physics and Theory of Relativity.

Kegan has good ideas on this topic. Development is continuous but stages can help identify where you on are the continuum. https://medium.com/@NataliMorad/how-to-be-an-adult-kegans-theory-of-adult-development-d63f4311b553 …

Carl Jung talked about the second half of life. At some point, if you're paying attention, you'll notice that reality is bigger than you and all your constructs for dealing with it. Then you can start to remove the rigidity from your constructs and move toward wholeness.

Ask yourself (in order!): What are my... Greatest loves (people/places/things)? Greatest losses? Dreams for creating and exploring? Needs for achieving those dreams?
