In all seriousness though, I think we can be in a near constant state of existential questioning without coupling that with a sense of dread. It should be a curious and creative exploration, to play around with our perspectives. And it also orients us towards a life we value.

Existence can be so horrifying bad and lack any meaning. The reaction to that can be crippling but also so freeing if you can appreciate how wonderful some qualia is and how meaningless many anxiety-provoking things actually are.

True, tho I don't like the notion of meaninglessness. I think we need a healthy balance of understanding (or more accurately, not understanding) the big picture & also creating our own meaning. Just because meaning might not exist outside humans doesn't mean it cant exist at all!

Yes, I think I agree! I meant that we can try to develop or change the meaning of things rather than them having some intrinsic meaning. The semantics problem reminds me I need to figure out all the differences between, existentialism, nihilism, absurdism, etc...
