The next time you're sick with the flu, try imagining, "This is the best I'm ever going to feel from now on. My symptoms will only get worse, until this eventually kills me in 2 weeks." I did this for real. I found it *impossible* to be so sanguine about death. It was terrifying!

Has always been a fundamental life view for me. Just as I am at this point in my life right now, in a blink I will be on my death bed. Time can be as long or as short as you perceive it to be. Death is already here as much as life is The grand finale is an integral component
