Yup. My hypothesis is that abundance itself isn’t bad, it’s abundance of noise that’s bad. I believe it’s theoretically possible to have abundance of good signal via carefully constructed and maintained filters
There is so much irrelevant noise on social media Abundance distracts us and makes it difficult to choose what to value and focus our energy on I think we all have a responsibility as digital citizens to focus on constructive signals vs clutter

How I handle this: 2 types of abundance. Abundance of quantity and abundance of quality. I try to focus only on quality. E.g. -Books: time thinking >>> time reading. Worthy of multiple rereads. -Follows: 90% of tweets valuable to me. -Podcasts/ music: listen on repeat.
