One of the most valuable tools you can cultivate is the ability to recognise and understand positive and negative feedback loops when they emerge for you. What thoughts and behaviours characterise each? What brings them on? And how can you pivot towards more beneficial patterns?

Another way of looking at it is watching thoughts, & asking why are they there? 'Negative' ones will pop as distractions from / reactions to something difficult. Good question to ask might be "why is this difficult?" / "what is making this difficult?" Advising myself here
