1. Try and set a goal to finish all the books you already have before you buy more (if they're good)
2. Daily habits are key. Instead of saying you'll read one book every week, opt for 10 mins a day

accountable for no.2, otherwise you're likely to ignore yourself. 4. Mix it up. Don't read 4 non-fiction books in a row. The best thing for me personally was reading more fiction books. Read to many nonfics and you'll associate reading with a chore, when it should be a joy.

Lastly, if you're trying to read more longform stuff, read less articles online (if you already do this). Most articles cover the same stuff, and on a shallow level. Skimming these will ruin your attention span and make it harder to commit to a book.
