Do you have a patreon or something for your articles? That might be a start.
I thought about it recently but couldn't fathom the thought that people would actually value my input that much 
Though there's definitely people who's patreon I would get behind without qn
Should I consider it more?

You should. You have 1k followers, it's a good foundation. If people want to buy you a coffee in exchange for reading an article, let them! :)

Yeah I wouldn't ditch that quick :P only if I knew there was an opportunity to be had. I guess it is a growing market. + I don't wanna sabotage my opportunity to get into academia just yet
