Seems self-sabotage is ultimately a cleverly disguised defence mechanism. Defence against ridicule, judgement, failure, perceived inadequacy. But the usefulness of these fears approach zero. And the usefulness of pursuing action? Potentially invaluable.

I've found deep solitude to be among the most helpful/revealing things to do to better understand my creative drives and self-sabotaging tendencies. Consider isolating yourself from the world for a few weeks.
