Do you have an example? An age of humanity you judge as utterly despicable? Are they not all humans in context?

True. Although I think now more than ever we're at a difficult, complex, and dangerous turning point in which our actions directly affect the livelihoods of future people. Of course, this happened in the past, but there'd been much less risk (now we have climate change etc.)

I thought no about this too, but in more of a meme context. Like historians trying to understand internet jokes and lingo. "The meaning of LOL is a highly debated subject in academia. Some say it's an expression of laughter, others say love, and some say it means nothing at all."
