Freedom is not the ability to do whatever you want. Rather, it’s an expansion of your array of choices. If you don’t expand your mind to see the choices, freedom does little for you. And if you aren’t able to aptly discern, freedom will cripple you.

Another way of thinking of it: Freedom is fought for, not given.
