What would the business model of a social media platform be? 
I criticise social media platforms a lot, but also use them and understand their positive uses. So I think it would be a neat challenge to design a new one that was rid of all the problems I see in current ones (advertising, censorship, restricting the format of info etc.)
Unsure if anything will ever come of it, but I’d like to give it a go anyway :)
I agree I’d like to try out these thoughts. I’ll ping you when I have a whitepaper. So social media could be improved, even in UX and functionality. However the hosting is very costly - and there needs to be somebody paying for it... and micropayments ($1) isn’t really common yet
Definitely. I think the best way would be to have some sort of yearly subscription but that’s so different from what people are used to w/ social media
