But both are abstractions. The reality of things cannot be adequately captured in mere words and... 
...models, no matter how many we use. The true essence of even a singular tree cannot be cataloged in its entirety. Our descriptions and quantifications of things are just that, not the things themselves. We impoverish life, reality, and experience when we forget this.
