Agreed, but I also think the value of effectively sharing ideas can't be understated. If we can only share with those who we agree with the idea has little value past the individual.
Opinions are valuable proportional to the amount of knowledge had on the subject at hand, and the depth of thought that has been put into it. Be wary of this when encountering the opinions of others, and when sharing your own.
