We will have ownership of our own data, and via our data wallets - assisted by our AI which knows our values and our preferences - will secure a form of universal basic income by agreeing to sell / share pieces of our data with selected organisations or via social media apps.

Oooh. Hopefully government policy can catch up with data ownership. Whoever owns the data will have power in the future. Interesting to see how this might widen the rift between the poor and the rich, as although they have leverage w/ data, they’re kinda selling their souls

This may be wishful thinking, but hopefully the recognition of existential risks facing our species will be taken seriously on an international level. This would force us to adopt entirely new political systems designed around the sustaining out existence as a species.

Hopefully with humans going to Mars in optimistically 2024, it will spark an unparalleled appreciation and desire for human multiplanetary colonization.

Data will be ubiquitous and so commonplace that it will be dirt cheap. We will have access to data on literally everything you can possibly imagine. We might see the emergence of a globally connected database. Similar to singularity but for big data.
