Is lying morally wrong?
Interesting take, although if we examine this in the context of AI it’s necessary for us to agree on some moral framework for them to function by. I also think finding a framework you agree with can provide direction and make decisions easier.

Is it? I wonder about the fundamental differences between incentive systems an moral frameworks- whether one masquerades as the other. I think it is more necessary to carefully explicate what single value we would seek to optimize and to imbue AI with that measure.

The results of this poll seem to indicate that others would agree that lying is permissible or impermissible relative to an optimizable KPI.
